Hey guys, I'm brand new to the Mopar game, been a Chevy guy forever. I'm helping a buddy of mine with his 2007 Ram 1500 QC 4WD with a 4.7 and we're looking for info on Hemi swaps. my Buddy's wife took it to a guy to do some top end work on it while we were in Afghanistan, and he took the heads and manifold off, and left the short block exposed to the weather, and now everything is rusted and will need some machining and new parts to fix. we figure since we need a new motor, may as well get a Hemi... anyone got any good info or some links to threads where guys have done the swap? I've done engine swaps and auto-manual trans swaps, so I'm not shy about making things work and whatever, but I'd like to figure out what we're getting into. Thanks in advance, I'm looking forward to working on something different.
