Default Roof Ham Radio Antenna Routing

Hi, I have a mag mount 2m/440m ham radio antenna on my roof. Currently as a temp solution i run the wire through the back window and leave it unlocked, obviously not a good permanent solution.

I am trying to find out how I can route the cable into the cab some how. I see there are vents on the back of the cab but it seems there is zero ways to get to the vents without removing the entire bed which i am not prepared to do.

Are there any other routing holes into the cab? Perhaps one made for a trailer hitch hook up?

Routing the cable under the truck to the engine compartment to the firewall and in is not an option, the cable isnt long enough and extended it will introduce too much loss. The radio will be under my drivers seat.

Thanks much guys.

Remove the backseat, drill a hole in the back wall and put a rubber grommet in place

Thanks, I ended up using this metal plug under the drivers seat. Worked perfect.

I found the 3rd brake light to be the best, alwayse want to keep your cable runs as short as possible. And I think you mean 70cm not 440m lol, your not going to pick up anything but cosmic radiation on 440m.
