Default Anyway to test ABS module?

Have the issue with my brake light, ABS light and engine light on as well as no speedo. I have replaced both sensors, checked the connections at the ABS module and the fuse box.
Questions....after replacing the sensors do I have to reset the PCM or ABS module?
Also, how can 'I' test the ABS module?
Thanks

Nail the brakes on something slippery. The wheels shouldn't lock and the pedal should vibrate. If that's the case, the ABS is working. What are the codes? Sounds like the tone ring isn't being read by the computer.

Or hook it up to a diagnostic (factory/dealer one).

I am getting the P500 code. I read on another thread that I could check the ohms between the red/violet wire and the white violet wire and if the ohms were between 1600-2300 then the sensor is good and the module is bad. I did that and it checked out ok, however I have not heard anybody mention that anywhere else other than that one site and it appears as though this is a pretty common issue with these trucks. I have also heard that once I replace both speed sensors that I need to get the PCM (?) reset (by the dealer) to make the eng, ABS and brake light to go off.
