2002 ram 4X4 does not work

Default 2002 ram 4X4 does not work
Electrical problem. Electrical switch display on dash does not light up. Warning says check 4X4. I checked fuses under hood and both are good. Any help? Thank you

transfer case?bring it to a shop and ask what they think it is.

Check the encoder motor, usually located on the front axle. Its what engages the fork in the front diff to engage 4wd.
