front shock question - it OEM spring seat welded in?
Hi all,
06 1500 4X4 5.7L, 73k miles
I'm replacing the front shocks with Bilstein 5100s. Received them in the mail, read the instructions. They say to reuse the oem spring seat. This appears welded onto the KYB shocks which are installed. I have not removed the KYBs but dont want to be stuck ordering/waiting for lower spring seats once the front is tore apart. Anybody had this problem or an I just missing something?
Thanks!

Well guys I answered my own question. Thought I'd share in case anybody else had the same issue.
The KYB shocks (W0133-1899849) do have welded in spring seats for sure. I ordered a Monroe 905914 kit which contains the necessary spring seat, as well as the upper mount and bushing.

Received the kit today and found it does not include the lower coil seat. I can't find this part sold alone, only as a component to full shock kits, like this monroe. If anybody has replaced their front shocks with a complete shock kit, I'll buy your used lower mount!
