Did you try loosing the 4 bolts to the hub about 1/4 inch and using the socket and extension against the axle turning the steering wheel to push on the axle bolts.

It's probably going to take heat. Be careful using your power steering to pop it off. I tried that method and now my pump has a constant whine, plus, it didn't get it loose. If you live anywhere they use salt on the roads, you are going to need a torch and a small sledge.

Your going to have to use a press of some sort to push it off. Not so easy to do in a drive way. Rust builds up and seals the wheel hub. Add a new wheel hub to cost of the u joints and go with servicable units..

I went threw this on my 06 2500, I paid big bucks to have this work completed.

I have a pic in my garage of the basterd hub.
