Default help me 05 ram 1500 v8 4.7

Ok, my truck locked up and I pulled over. The belt had come off and water was gushing from the water pump. I changed the water pump and the belt. Flushed the coolant. Now it immediately over heats and 0 oil pressure. I'm scratching my head. I'm no mechanic but I've always din my own work.

I'm no mechanic either but i can throw out some ideas for you.

What do you mean when you say your truck locked up?

I've seen some nasty things happen when you break a belt and don't catch it in time.

Is there any coolant in your oil (it will be milky) or white smoke coming out of the exhaust? If so you may have a cracked head or blown head gasket.

I've seen overheating cause the oil pump seal to fail causing little to no oil pressure. The continuing overheating could be a blockage at the thermostat.
