Default Black Wheels

Does anyone have black wheels? Specifically I'm looking for pictures of the American Racing Teflons or perhaps the Black Mountain Crawlers.

Thanks,
Abrams

Abrams:

Sorry my wheels aren't all black (Blk & Alum), nor are they aftermarket, but they might give a partial clue to what you are looking for--you miight blacken the outer parts in Photoshop or similar, if you have it.

I thought of doing all black but decided the gray truck needed something else. What color is your truck? Seems to me it will make a difference as to how any particular color wheel will looks.

All the best.

The AR rims are simply coated in Teflon....its basically a Gun Metal coloring......and as far as I know, they only offer it on like 2-3 rim styles...

this is to keep your scrambled eggs from sticking to your wheels...

No really, why would they bother coating a wheel in teflon?
Brake dust will stick to anything and even a teflon pan gets water spots on it.

I never said it was intelligent or smart.....but thats basically what it amounts to.... its a teflon coat finish...

yeh I dont get it, mixing wheels with cookware

as Gallagher says "what makes the teflon stick to the pan?"
of course he also poses the question "what would a chair look like if your legs bent the other way"
so it doesnt have to make sense...

I saw one ad where the Teflon coated wheels were marketed to keep "mud and dirt from sticking to the wheels". Personally, I just really like the look. There is a Ford Superduty around town where I live that is running the 17"x9" (my best guess) with 37" SSRs. The truck is black as well. The whole package looks really nice.

Regards,
Abrams
