Wont Start - Bad Starter?

Most starter problems are the result of burnt contact on the starter solenoid on the starter. Remove the starter and open the solenoid case. Replace the plunger and the two contacts for about $20 and reassemble. Takes less than 20 to 30 minutes depending on skill level. Reinstall starter and reconnect cleaned battery connections and you are golden. Way cheaper than the whole starter as most dealers would have you do. They do the change out because it is quick and very profitable on the parts markup.
