Default MDS wiring harness

We have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 with the HEMI. The MDS is acting up, and we really don't wanna shell out the dough to have the dealership replace all of the solenoids ($1000+).

I've been reading that we could simply unplug the MDS wiring harness, and that would prevent it from causing performance issues.

Is that true? And if so, can y'all tell me where the wiring harness is?

Get a programmer and disable it.

I used the Superchips handheld tuner to disable the MDS. A Diablo Predator will work as well. They run $300-350 which would be cheaper than any dealer service plus there's no down time.
