Aftermarket cats have like 1/20th the precious metals OEM one's do so they don't last for crap.
I'd buy another to go another 2yrs. I mean, they are only $120ish..right? And you'd be able to sleep at night knowing your legal if that matters??.lol

Gutting out an already high flow cat does nothing for performance.
The only thing you'll gain is teary eyes and a burning throat from the unburndt fumes.

Even stock cats are only good for about 2-3rwhp of gain. Gutting a stock cat, your truck will go from a 18sec 1/4mi to a 17.99sec 1/4mi with a gutted cat..lol
Gutting an aftermarket cat, you'll still be at that 17.99sec 1/4mi

Not worth the effort man. Stick a new one on and call it a day.

just picking on you with the random numbers, but seriously, these trucks are super heavy and are not that fast in reality. Save the trouble.

Order a universal cat off Amazon. Mine wasn't universal (stock, 2 in, 1 out), but it was like $67 or something before shipping.
