I think he meant RETURN line. At idle, I think it's ~20psi btw. It's certainly not a firehose but it will dump a couple qts of oil on the ground in a matter of 5 seconds.
Just re-read. Oil coolers run at the same pressure as the fluid. It uses the trans pump to circulate.

My ford past bites me in the *** again. The external cooler lines on my old ford were supplied with a recirc pump, low pressure.
