5.7 p0113 code wont go away truck wont start
Hey guys, I have been all over this forum reading up on similar issues as mine. Thanks to you all I have already gone through and removed throttle body and cleaned it thoroughly (small hard to get to areas with a toothbrush). Lets start from the beginning. This is a work truck that gets used to pull campers when needed otherwise serves as a run around/plow truck. Thankfully we have diesels to do most the pulling, gas engines are weak! So this truck has not been run in over a month, never had issues with it starting. Used last month to pull a few campers a short distance with no problems. Went to jump in it one day and it just cranked and cranked. Cranking sounded normal and up to speed. Finally dragged it in shop and got P0113Pend and P0113MIL telling me that the intake temp circuit it to high or something. I have torn it down, cleaned throttle body, reinstalled, replaced that sensor with a brand new one after cleaning the old one didnt work and truck still wouldnt start. replaced CPS because I bought that and Camshaft sensor while at auto store and heard the CPS is a bit of a common occurrence? Have reset the PCM in every way possible that I have found online (unhook battery and turn key to crank for 30-60 secs, the fuse method where you wait for the dings etc.) non of it has gotten truck to start. So im wondering is my PCM reset? the radio controls are still all the same stored controls which makes me think it isnt reset. also I am still getting the p0113 code after replacement (have now cleared all codes in hopes somethin will come back up to tell me whats wrong) Truck is stock with no mods. also when i try to fire it up the first time or two after resetting codes the ETC light (lightening bolt) in bottom right corner comes on, by the third try, as i release the key the bolt and the CEL blink 10 times together before CEL light comes on solid and lightening bolt continues to flash. This was happening after i cleaned the throttle body. So im stuck, truck cranks, wont start. Checked fuel rail and it builds pressure so im good there. Checked spark and got nothing, i assume its not allowing it to spark because the pcm is reading that intake voltage too high on sensor? Any help is greatly appreciated!
Let me know if more info is needed, really hoping to see what anyone says. My next option is to go online and buy a new throttle body and try that, trying to avoid that expense though as i know they are expensive.
Thanks a lot guys

just a little more info, I just did some IAT testing with my scanner to find that my IAT temp is within 10 degrees of shop temp so that says IAT works. when i unplug harness from sensor it stats -40 degrees, so that is showing my scanner is fine. my other concern is as it was processing live data updates my scanner would show Ign. Advanced deg. -64.0 and throttle position at 17.1% when the IAT showed 59 degrees. however sometimes it would come back with no reading fro IAT (not 0 just didnt even show up on scanner) atg which time throttle position was 0 as was ign advan deg. Does anyone know if there is any irregularity here?
If you have a P0113 for the intake temp sensor circuit is high. That means you either have an open circuit.....5 volts or a bad sensor. If the sensor is unplugged and with a scanner, what does the voltage show and with sensor plugged into the sensor, what is the voltage. A bad coolant temp sensor will also cause a hard starting problem too. Do you have any other codes? Here is a TSB that I found, Maybe this will help?

Flash: ETC Light Illuminated And/Or InactiveThrottle Body In Cold Ambient Temperatures
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves flash reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with new
software and replacing the throttle body on DR models only if Service Bulletin 14-002-05
has not been performed.
MODELS:
2003 - 2005 (DR) Ram Truck
2004 - 2005 (HB) Durango
NOTE: This Bulletin Applies To Vehicles Equipped With 5.7L Engines (Sales Code
EZA).
NUMBER: 14-003-10
GROUP: Fuel
DATE: February 16, 2010
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Customers may experience any of the following Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) system
symptoms at start up in extreme cold ambient temperatures (Below 0° F (minus 18°C)):
· Partial Return From Cold Start Fast Idle
· No RPM Increase When Accelerator Pedal Is Moved
· ETC Light Illuminated and Diagnostic Trouble Code P2110 - Throttle Actuator
Control System - Forced Limited RPM set
· ETC Light Illuminated and Diagnostic Trouble Code 2118 - Throttle Actuator Control
Motor - Current Range/Performance set
This condition has been corrected by updating the PCM software to aggressively shake
the throttle blade at start-up to break any ice that may be present.
DIAGNOSIS:
Using a Scan Tool with the appropriate Diagnostic Procedures available in
TechCONNECT, verify all engine systems are functioning as designed. If DTC's other then
the one listed above are present record them on the repair order and repair as necessary
before proceeding further with this bulletin.
If the vehicle operator describes or experiences the Symptom/Condition, perform the
Repair Procedure.
PARTS REQUIRED:
Qty. Part No. Description
1 (AR) 05161805AA Throttle Body - 2003/2004
1 (AR) 05174079AA Throttle Body - 2005
(1) 04275086AB Label, Authorized Modification
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Is this a DR vehicle?
a. Yes >>> proceed to Step #2
b. No >>> proceed to Step #3
2. Has Service Bulletin 14-005-05 been performed on this vehicle?
a. Yes >>> proceed to Step #3
b. No >>> Using the procedures outlined on DealerCONNECT/TechCONNECT,
remove the throttle body and install the appropriate throttle body listed in the Parts
Required section and proceed to Step #3
NOTE: The HB body PCM may not support abort recovery. If this update is
interrupted or aborted for any reason, the PCM may be unable to display a
flash part number requiring the PCM to be replaced.
NOTE: If this flash process on DR bodies is interrupted/aborted, the flash should be
restarted.
3. Reprogram the PCM with the latest software.
a. Clear any DTC's that may have been set in other modules due to reprogramming.
The wiTECH application will automatically present all DTCs after the flash and allow
the tech to clear them.
