I think southern Sweden have kind of the same weather as you have, in August its around 20C (68F) and 18C (64F) in the oacean, around 10C(50F) the north.
If you want cold and snow you should visit Northen Sweden in February-Mars.
Here is what me and my son is doing during winter (end of Mars) Blåsjön 2013 Del 1 Munkflohögen Production GoPro HD Hero 2 - YouTube

If you decide to visit Sweden I can recommend you some places to visit if you want (I know the west coast around Gothenburg and the Northen part around Östersund), the Northen part of Sweden is a very low crime area were almost everyone can be trusted, we even leave our car keys in the ignision.
well at least I know where I'll never have to rent a car..... hehehehe

We're not sure where we want to go yet... I've got 9 or so months to figure it out.... lol

Well..... I was to quick saying it now works.
I can have it turned of for a few hours now and then start it again but not like 24hours, then it wont start.
I checked the pressure of the lift pump through the drain valve of the filter, it reads 11psi without cranking and it goes down to 10psi when I am cranking. I dont know if that is enough.
To make it more diffecult its now -10c(14F) so the battery needs constant charging
I dont think there is any problem with the pre heater because I can hear the liftpump goes faster after the pre start cycle is ready, so it takes a lot of power, and I had the same problem during summer.

Can I read the fuel rail pressure with a voltmeter on the sensor or do I have to buy a meter?

Can it be the fuel pressure limiting valve leaking and prevent the pressure to be built up?
Can I loosen the banjo on the top of the fuel pressure limiting valve to see if any diesel is comming out?

I believe fuel pressure should be between 17-22 at idle and 32-35 under normal driving load.

Most Cummins out there run at right about 40psi...

It sounds like your lift pump might be the issue...

You might want to take this over to the Cummin's Diesel section of the forum and see if there is anything we're overlooking that might make it an easier fix...

OK, start problem solved.
I changed all 6 injectors and tubes and now I got correct fuelrail pressure at start and it now start right away even in the coold.
