ok so ive been reading and im getting like a million different answers ive got two 03 dodges with both the same problems. the first one everything was fine went to switch to defrosters and heard a loud pop noise after that it only works on the main vents on the dash. the other one was fine and then one day every thing but floor vents stopped working. no matter what setting the **** is on. ac blows cold and heat blows hot like normal. now ive been reading and i have read that it could be a vacuum leak, blend door, re circulation door and ive also read it could be the ****. could anyone give me a actual answer of what it could be if this is in the wrong section of the site im sorry im new to the group

 

Definitely a blend door. ***** and controls are electrical. There are no vac hoses.

 

Agree. Go to heatertreater.com for diagnosis on which one it is. It's going to be a PITA!

 

oh have 02 dodge ram and air only blows out the dash...i removed blower moter and the door above it works ..think its the recir door?

yep mode 1 door ...got it out and new one ordered ...mode 2 door busted also its not getting fixed as long as i have defrost and panel ill be okay .. and the guy in the video says cover the metal with duct tape listen to him about lost a pinkey finger . DODGE needs the mess slapped out of them for this !
