Default Changing spark plugs battle

Ok I've leaned my lesson, always use anti-seize on your threads of your plugs or you'll be fighting your plugs and I hope it isn't #8 or #7, this was a 3 hour battle from piston 8 and I won't, going to drop a magnet down to pick up any metal if any.just wanted to post a pic. This was the first time I changed then sense the po.

You might also have a go with a shop-vac.

Usually when people post up about putting anti-seize on plug threads.....you always get someone posting up "you don't get the correct torque when using that stuff" etc etc etc.
Stuff that.....I'd rather get my plugs out next time lol.

How many miles did you put on those plugs?
plus a magnet will not pick up broken porcelain, I hope you used another method to remove that as well.

Those same people will also advocate using fresh engine oil on the threads of the plugs. A guy on another car forum I frequent always rails against Anti-seize because "it gives a false torque reading" and in the next sentence advises people to put fresh oil on the threads. I've never had a chance to ask why Anti-seize affects the torque reading but oil doesn't.

Just bump up the torque about +5% and you'll be fine.

We'll the truck been fine even though I had a emergency and had to run it on 7 pistons and 7 injectors..... I know it was stupid but I needed her. And she came through I did drop a magnet and pick up some crap, my compression in all is around 150 which is good I still think I have to go back in to the chains area and remove the tensioner plate that came with the new set and retime cause I'm getting ckp/cmp code and chain slapping the guide on pass side.
