Weird "door" Chime
Today, out of the blue, a chime went off while I was driving. No idea what it was so I kept driving.
Chime went off again and then I noticed I had a "door" message.
I pulled over and opened and closed all the doors. I continued on my way and the chime went off again with another "door" message.
I was on my way to work and had no time to play around so I figured I'd live with the chime for the time being.
Then the chime went off AND the interior light came on. I stopped again...opened and closed all the doors and the light remained lit.
So I pulled the bulb for now and listened to the chime all the way to work.
WTF???

After a little research it seems that it MIGHT be a door latch mechanism.
But how do I pin point which door?
The dome light stays on at all times so opening and closing doors to trouble shoot does not help.
Any ideas?

So....the weather has milded up here to about 4C... thawing anything that might have been frozen after the "ICE STORM OF 2013".
I squirted a heavy amount of "Release-All" into each latch mechanism (from the outside) and opened and closed all the doors umpteen times.
It seems to have cleared the problem...at least temporarily.
I re-installed the interior light bulb and found I could turn it off with the dash dimmer wheel.
Stupid system as with the overhead light off I also lose the bright dash background lighting.
Would it have killed them to have a separate switch for that??

So today in nice mild 6C weather the door chime started again. THIS time I left the truck running and got out of the truck. With one eye on the "door" message I opened and closed the doors.
This time the message cleared opening and closing the rear drivers side door.
At least I have it isolated now.
