Default Dodge Ram Daytona Production Numbers

A friend of mine recently purchased an '05 Dodge Ram Daytona Edition.
He asked me to track down production numbers, but I could not find anything whatsoever.
It seems as though Dodge played a dirty little game with the Rumble Bee, and did not disclose any production #s so far.
Is the same deal happening with the Daytona edition, or did Dodge annonunce exactly how many Daytonas were built?
Thanks,
Boris

I would not expect it to be to low. Unless my area is different I always saw many of them on the lot.

Everything I find simply says, "limited edition." Certainly just DC marketing gooble-de-goop. I'd suspect it was "limited" to however many they could sell!

I too saw quite a few on a small, local dealer's lot.

Some manufacturers intentionally do not sort the data by such classifications, whereas others allow sorting by each individual option and readily publish the info. I'm afraid DC is in the former group and not the latter.

Let us know if you find something specific, and more importantly where!

All the best.
