Default 5.7 Superchips 3815

I am looking at buying a Superchips 3815 for my 05 5.7. But I have some concerns.

1. Will this void the warranty?

2. If you store the original settings in the Superchips what happens if it dumps it?

Thank You

1. Does a bear poop in the woods? Yes. Will buying and using a Superchips 3815 void your warranty? Yes - If it is detected at a dealership. Of course, before any visit to the dealership, you should revert the truck back to the stock configuration. A tech can still determine that settings were set outside of factory parameters, if he/she looks.

2. If the Superchips unit loses the stock program? You are out of luck on that one. Maybe with the PC connectivity, there's going to be a way to save things to a computer hard drive for additional backup.

Anytime you take your truck to the dealer you need to program it back to stock. That'll keep them from seeing it with their scanning equipment and if they flash you, it won't overwrite your program and lock your tuner. RPP has been selling them for $355 + shipping. 919-201-6239.
