I have a "service 4x4" light on my dash and no led lights will work on my selector switch. I have read that most of the time the TCCM is the problem. I went to the junk yard and got another one and still nothing works. Can anybody help me please!!!!!

could be bad encoder motor. That's what engages 4wd on the switch style.

 

Dirtydog!!! Hit the nail right on the head!!! I've read that post before but I didnt dive that far into it. Today took it over a friends house in his garage armed with the diagrams for the 4x4 system and started tracing all the wires out. Didnt have the 12volts feeding the TCCM. Only had 3volts!!! So we found the pug and wire from the integrated power mudule and tested continuity and the wire rang out good. Then proceeded to take the rest of the plugs off and try to get it apart to clean the corosion but could not do it! (I have no idea how that guy got that fuse box apart!) So I went to autozone and got a little jumper that pugs into the fuse and has alittle pigtail on it that u can crimp a new wire onto it. So we ran anew wire to the plug on the TCCM and crimped it on the little pigtail in the fuse box and bam!!! Worked like a champ!! Thanks!!!
