Dodge Ram cv axle issues
Hey guys, i was just wondering if anybody else has had cv axle issues with there dodge before. I have an 2003 dodge ram 1500 4x4 crew cab. I replaced both cv axles and spline shafts last year and now my driver side cv let go right at the hub. Are these 4x4s glass or am i just unlucky? Thanks

No they're ok.
But you got to understand it's an IFS setup and not a beam/solid axle suspension. So when "wheeling" they're not as strong.
Has anyone tweaked the torsion bars to get the truck levelled?
Too much turning on the torsion bar adjusting bolts, will give poor CV angles and will lead to binding and wearing or possible breaking of the CV shafts.

The truck does have a leveling kit, but the dealership told me that it shouldnt cause any stress on the cv's. I dont use this truck for 4x4ing( got a 90 yj for that lol). Are there different cv's that i can put in to stop them from breaking so easily?
Thanks, Matt
