Default P1521 p3497

Had a code for egr valve so replaced it check engine light went off after we hooked comp up and cleared codes my remote start that came stock worked again... Hour or two later these two codes came up... Why didn't they come up before and I put 5w-20 oil in like it calls for I like that trucks are so smart but it's becoming somewhat of a hassle for every little thing when I just want my remote start

Welcome to the site. I wold love to help and I read it several times but cant understand WTH you are saying because one sentences runs into another and half of them are incomplete sentences.

Please edit your post and do it so someone can understand what you are trying to say

I replaced egr valve and check engine light went off after we cleared codes. Then the other code 3497 came on little while down road... I notice it is sluggish in 4 cly mode. I think I need to do a good tune up plugs wires and oil change and see where i stand.

My remote start came on truck stock as well and if for any reason as dumb as they could be when the check engine light is on it will not work. It starts up for ten seconds and then shuts down.
