Default Finally did it

After months and months of research I have finally decided to order a lift. I ordered the MaxTrac 4.5" Spindles and the MaxTrac 2" lift shackles. I can't wait to get them here so I can find the time to install them.

Can someone recommend some shocks?
I know the fronts will be stock height and I assume the back will need to be 2in longer than stock.

I will post pics as soon as its installed.

In addition to the lift, I also have a superchips 3815, OE fog light kit, flex-a-lite e-fan, and fender flares to be installed soon as well.

06 2wd here with 3" blocks. Running stock length shocks without problems. If u go get shocks for rear avoid pro comp and Monroe

Post back about those max trac spindles to I'm switching them out with my airbagit.com 3" ones in a month or so. I doubt u need to use there supplied brake lines either rotate the brake line mounting point and you get tons of slack.

Thanks for the advice about the shocks, I was actually looking at the pro comps because of the price. I am shocked (no pun intended) that you don't recommend Monroe. I thought they were one of the best. I will most likely use the brake lines just because i have them and if I add more lift later it will be one less thing I will need to do.

I will definatly provide some feed about the spindles once installed. One thing I do like is that you can use stock wheels without having to add a big spacer.

I had a bad experience with monroe shocks a couple years ago. They were oil not gas filled shocks and blew 3 of them in a 2 week period on a light 2wd 1500.

Pro Comp bushings are gone after 6 months the rubber just deteriorated and is now metal on metal on the lower shock mount and lower eyelet.

Had Procomp ES9000 on for over 4 months now.
Not a problem with them at all.
