Is there a good upgraded intake manifold for the 4.7? Trying to find like a high rise or one with bigger runners..

 

search for a 2008 and up intake for the 4.7. they add like 75 hp or something like that. I know they sell them here airram.com they also have all sorts of other stuff for the 4.7

would the 4.7 08+ ram, Dakota, Durango be the same? Or ram only

 

I find it very hard to believe that changing an intake manifold will net you 75 HP. Maybe 7.5 is what you meant.

 

75hp did seem like a lot of gain for a simple mod.

I know with a manifold change and a few other minor thing on a honda you can close close to 20hp

So i just thought maybe it was a major flaw or something in the old 4.7 design.

 

lol they it is worth 15-20 hp in the mid range 3k-4k
