How much can my '03 Ram 1500 QC SLT 4x2, 4.7l tow?

Guys,

I'm looking through the internet and the manual. I can't find an exact number on how much it can tow.

From the manual:

All Dodge Ram Pickup trucks are intended to tow trailers
up to 2,000 lbs (907 kg) without added equipment or
alterations to standard equipment.

Doesn't the SLT have a "towing package?" Is it still then only 2,000 lbs?

Internet (cars dot com) says 1,766 lbs payload and 8,350 lbs towing capacity.

I'm confused now and appreciate your help in clearing things up for me

The bumper tow hitch is supposedly rated for 5000lbs.
