You should see decent MPG gains in city driving where a clutch fan is most parasitic. Not much if any MPG gains on the highway. Engine response, especially at low RPMs should be very noticeable...

i was looking at a 93 Ford Taurus SHO today and the junk yard said $35 for the fan ....but iam unsure what all is supposed to come off of the car like what wires and such....could anyone explain or show a picture of what i need

The whole fan shroud that comes off the radiator (it's all one assembly), and cut off the wires after the connector (leave yourself enough room to solder other wires to).
