I need a power Boost

Hey guys , here’s an off the wall question for you. I have a 2003 1500 3.7 with a manual transmission, I use it to pull a boat locally, but occasionally travel a few hundred miles to fish in a different part of the state. The problem is that it lacks badly for power, sometimes I wonder if I will be able to get the boat out of the water. I know that changing the rear end gear will help with that, but would kill me on the highway. Someone suggested just adding a 4wd transfer case, and use 4 low to get up the ramp, 4 high for everything else. Is this possible? What parts would I need? ( transfer case part #) or is there a better solution?
Thanks Bill

Is soon soon-enough that you can put off the money you'd spend now, on this truck, and put it towards a new truck? Gears will set you back a good bit. Tuners won't help much.
Hey those six cyl rams aren't too bad! That is, when they come with the big C on the side

When shopping remember the order of engines.
You have
Look for only the first two if you're looking to tow a small boat, and look to the first option if you're looking to tow regularly (the diesel gets better gas mileage towing)
The 3rd gen 4.7 will tow like 7100# with a 3.92 gearing I believe, but it'll scream doing it.
You have
- i6 Cummins (5.9L or 6.7L variants available) (Best)
- V8 5.7 Hemi (Better)
- V8 4.7 Magnum (Functional)
- V6 3.7 Magnum (Poor)
