Default gear upgrade help!!!!

So I'm going install a 9" lift on my 2007 dodge ram 1500 2wd 5.7 hemi and going to add 22" wheels with 37 a/t tires.....so my question is, will the 4.56 gear ratio with a limited slip posi traction upgrade be the right choice for my lift upgrades??

I'd say with 37 inch tall tires you will need 4.56's or maybe more if they will fit in the carrier but the 4.56's should do the job. Question...Why you lifting a 2wd vehicle that high???? I doubt you will have to raise it that high to fit 22's and 37 in tall tires, and it's going to handle like s$#t

Well the reason I'm lifting it that high its cuz Its something new and where I live there's not much need of a 4x4 ......and you don't need a 4x4 to lift a truck to make it look nice

How much of that is a body lift and how much is a suspension lift...?

9" is going to make that truck really suck on the highway... prolly on the street in general, but it's your truck and your $....

Personally unless you plan to off-road/rockcrawl with it I wouldn't ever go higher than 4".... Maybe 6" if I wanted a bit more "flair"... anyways, good luck!

That's the biggest waste of money I've ever heard of. Ruin a truck for no reason other than you can. I guess we have another Napoleon syndrome kid here. If there's no need of 4 wheel drive vehicle where you live, I seriously doubt there is a need of a 9 inch lifted 2 wheel drive truck either.....Oh one other thing...It's not going to look good. It's going to look like someone wanted a 4 wheel drive vehicle, but didn't have the funds to buy one, and made a 2 wheel drive look like a 4 wheel drive, so someone thinks he has a 4 wheel drive IMO
