Post Thinking about getting a M1101 trailer

I'm thinking about getting a M1101 trailer for my Dodge Ram.

Is there anything I have to watch out for other than hitch and adapter for the electrical system? I'm pretty confident that some members here have that combo already (civ. pick up and mil. trailer).

I appreciate any help in this matter!

I've never seen someone with an M1101 trailer and a regular pick-up truck... but I guess there's a first time for everything... post pictures when you get it

by the way one is up on this site real cheap:

I posted this also at a different board and I got following link as response;

It seems legit and doable.

I keep my eyes on some trailers here at Ft. Sill, OK. But Ft. Hood, TX is also not too far away

yeah you just need to swap out the bulbs to 12v/24V LEDs and modify the 12 Pin harness to a 7 Pin harness and you'll be good to go 100%.

You actually got my wheels turning on maybe getting one so I can haul the side-by-side I plan on maybe getting next year or so....

Downside is I don't see any for sale anywhere near me, so it'd be one hell of a haul to go get one. lol

Definitely keep us posted if you do get one, as I'd love to hear about it.

Just tell your wife that it's not my fault when you spend a lot of money!

You should keep checking Ft. Dix.
