Post Motor Swap 03 4.7 durango into a 02 4.7 dodge ram

I swapped motors from a 03 Durango into my o2 dodge ram 1500 4.7. the motor fires but will not crank. I have read that I may need to swap flywheels from one motor to the other because one is a 16 tooth and the other 32teeth. I also read that the cam and crank toner rings can be changed. Any help to get my truck stared would be appreciated.

If it doesn't crank, how does the motor fire?

The motor fires but will not start and run. I just found out that the motor has to come back out and the toner rings must be swapped out which in tails removing the crank.

Most likely its the tone ring they changed the tone ring between 02 to 03 4.7l jtec vs ngc motors. 32tooth vs 16 tooth tone ring

Did you change the computers/controllers? Having just done a similar swap, I can tell you it is a serious PITA all the things you have to change out to keep from throwing codes.
