Default Figured out why my truck rode so rough...

I never expected my '08 to ride like sedan, but it did feel especially jittery whenever I hit bumps. I think I figured out the problem...

I compressed them both, and the one took about a minute to release, and as you can see, the other never did. Seemed like a good excuse to swap out the shocks for Bilsteins and add the Hellwig sway bar. I know it's been said dozens of times, but the Bilsteins and sway bar make the truck handle so much better. I highly recommend the upgrade if you're still on the fence about it.

Looks good and I'm sure that will fix your problem

Thanks. Like I said, huge difference in ride quality. I get why all '09+ have rear sway bars from the factory.

Sway bars have no influence on ride quality, only on handling. I love my RSB.

Sweet, dude. These trucks seem to eat rear shocks from my experience. Im thinkin of adding the rear sway bar to my 06. Can ya tell me how much clearance there is behind the read diff and the sway bar? I have a mag hytec diff cover and am wondering about the clearance.

Without measuring, I'd say there's a good 5-6" between the bar and rear diff cover. I noticed during the install that it wouldn't interfere with the next diff fluid change.

I don't see where he says the sway bar only, helped ride quality. I am sure those Bilsteins did help ride quality

FFS, I think we are deconstructing semantics here. How about:

Driving Experience Quality?
