Default Unsure of offset needed

Hello all..

My son has a 2002 2500 4wd SLT Laramie. I found this post with tons of info that made sense.

However, when I'm looking online for example at 35'' on 18'' wheels (the 18x9 XD778 Monster) I get two different offsets suggested to pick from for my vehicle... 0 and -12, any suggestion on which would be the best to make sure all clears?

Thanks so much!

Yeah, that's the post I referenced, great info!

Only thing is it doesn't say what offset to go with on the 35's, so that's why I am unsure.

Guys go 4.5" BS(equiv to -12mm offset) for 35x12's. I dont think 0mm offset(5"BS) will be enough for 35's. 5" sits inwards more and you may rub.
Assuming your getting a 9" wide rim.

Right, I am going with the -12 to be "safer" and like the look of the 1" or so sticking out.

Thanks!
