Very glad to see you are happy with the project and that industrial arts is alive and well in CA. Lovin' the hardcore bumper D-rings! So have you found a field big enough to turn it around in yet?

thanks! and its actually not bad to turn around, it really doesnt feel any different than it did before, tho it is just about 24 ft long lol
got the bumper finalized last thursday morning along with the rest of the little things on the truck, and decided... what the hell... might as well test it, so i went down and bought a new trailer, hooked it up and went on a 400 mi trip over the range to the coast and back without a single issue..... and i know the truck looks low in the back with the trailer, but its nothing like that in person, just something strange with the camera shot, scheduled to paint the bed and line-x the bumper early next week

If I wasn't already a long bed... haha. But i'm a lowly single cab. Amazing work man! Looks factory! Definitely a big project but you took it on head first and came out on top. Props!
Pictures of the frame splicing process would have been nice. Overall, it's an interesting build.
the pics are in here, i made the connectors and hooked the long bed frame to the truck under the cab, if my long bed frame wasnt bent where it was, there would be no connectors, there is a factory seam there that could be split and the too welded back together for a 100% factory look, but its what i had
