Default Fluid Leaking from Rear Shock

Two weeks ago I slid on wet pavement, hit a curb and the passenger side rear wheel snapped off the axle. The axle got replaced and I got my truck back last week. I just noticed today that every time I hit a bump in the road or anything like that I hear a fairly loud squeaking noise coming from that same side. I looked under the truck and there is fluid leaking from the shock. Should I not be driving the truck until this gets fixed? Sucks because I have a job interview tomorrow morning and its an hour drive from my house

30 minutes to o'Reilly and back home, 15 minutes per shock, 10 minutes for cleaning hands. You're good. Enough time till tomorrow. And o'Reilly has open till 9:00pm.
Have fun.

It looks bent, but yeah, you can drive it not to worry.

HUH? 10min to clean your hands? Really?
I wear Nitrile gloves anytime I work on dirty/greasy stuff. I buy boxes of them. I got sick of scrubbing my hands years ago.
I remember when the mechanics at the Dealership would laugh at me for wearing them. This was about 12yrs ago. I went in a few years later to get some parts and every mechanic as wearing gloves..lol

I buy a couple of boxes of 100ct(light duty) and 50ct(Medium duty) every time I go to Harbor Freight. They cost $7 a box. Well worth it! I bet you spend more on Gojo hand cleaner and time than I do on gloves!
HF gloves aren't powdered so your hands sweat a little, but if I'm going to be wearing the medium duty gloves for a while, I have a tub of podwer I smear on my hands prior.
Napa has powdered gloves # SAS 6608 for $10/box and are a bit stronger/flexible than the light duty HF one's.

Sure. But not today.
Mechanics should've seen that before.

Don't wait too long to replace that shock. A bad shock will cause cupping in the tire.
