Default ok Rookie question here !!!!

Never owned a truck in my life but went out and bought the best , dodge ram with hemi chrome blah blah blah..... Question is does anyone else notice like when you make a right turn at a light or stop sign that the back skids a little??? Im talking dry pavement i hear my tires do a slight peel. I understand the truck is front heavy and the back is empty but is that normal ???? Man I hate being a newb lol

Congrats, you have the optional limited slip in the rear differential.

My Dakota would give a lil wheel chirp every now and again on a sharp turn if I gave it a little too much gas. The Rams are especially light in the rear compared to the front....and my suggestion would be to just find a stop sign and try rolling out a little slower and see if that helps.

You could also hit up Lowe's or Home Depot for these sand bag style cylinders. They are like 4ft. long and shaped like a pole. They weigh like 80lbs or so. I had 4 in the bed of my truck most days....helped weigh it down some.

It is normal without any weight in the back. Sometimes you just gotta ease into the throttle if you don't want to spin.

Definitely add some weight come winter time!! Don't want to do some donuts into a telephone pole or worse when you hit some snow or what not. Damn, it is still 90*F or so down here in Miami. Wish you guys couls send down some cool air.

Hey, get on it harder and you'll hear more of the same!

If a problem, use less throttle or trade it in for a 6-cylinder.

Welcome aboard; we were all new once or twice, at something.
