last night i got off work hopped in the truck and came home. when i got home i shut it off and went to back the key out slightly so it wouldn't ding. well it wouldn't come, i wiggled it and still got nothing tried firing it up again and it isn't sending power to the starter from the sounds of it, i cant hear the starter moving. was able to wiggle the key out but it still act like it was in the acc position or it was powered anyway, being 12:30 am i disconnected my battery and went to bed. its a long weekend and was hoping to be able to drive it.

 

Check the adjustment of the bowdencable from the shifter. This is the actuator for the key. The P- Position is not noticed.

 

figured it out, gummy ignition. went in and sprayed a bunch of wd-40 then hit it with electrical cleaner. working like it supposed to now
