Default Clearance lights leaking.

I noticed the other day that my clearance lights must be leaking since I had water dripping out of my pillar arm by the grab bar. I was wondering what everyone has used that has had this problem? Some say silicon but I talked with a Safelight glass guy and he said to never use silicon on a car. So what has everyone else used?

Thanks

I always thought there were rubber gaskets under each of those lights, and they were replaceable...?

If not. I'd just use silicone... it will make it a real pain in the @$$ if you have to ever change the bulbs in those again so I'd replace them with LEDs while I was there too... lol

You may also want to double check the seal around your doors...

Get a hose and wet the door while a friend sits inside to see if it leaks... then repeat at the top of the windshield (to check that seal)... and last but not least check each of the clearance lights.

You can def use silicon. That's what and all I would do for something as simple as that

Sounds like a windshield leak.
