Question Leaf Spring U-bolts

Hey all, I'm ordering a new set of Eurethane bushings for my leaf springs, should I change out the u-bolts while I have the springs off? Anything else I should do while I'm there? I will be glad for any tips from anyone that's done this before that will make the job smoother.

My vehicle is an '02 r1500 SLT with a 5.9 and rear drive with 147k miles. Forgot to mention that.

You should replace u bolts. I believe they are a one time use.

Thanks, I wasn't sure about them. Time to go to Rock auto or some such place.

Got them changed! The only thing that might be a challenge to people would be removing the metal sleeves in the springs. I had an air chisel that made short work of them. I haven't really had a chance to test them out yet, just the ride home afterwards. Squawk is gone from the rear of the truck, wahoo! There are some winding roads down by the Arkansas river here in Tulsa, I might go pretend I have a mustang and whoop up on the Tarmac.
