ANYONE HEAR OF THIS TRANS TIP FOR THE 05'S
I ran across this guys site, he has an 05 Daytona and says on one part of the site
"A little bit about the Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 HemiĀ® Magnum
You can lock the transmission into first or second, but there is no third or "overdrive off" mode. Putting the transmission into second when starting will not limit it to second gear, but actually start it out in second, for use on snow or other slippery surfaces (equivalent to the "winter mode" on other automatics).
here is his page : http://home.comcast.net/~dodge_ram_daytona/
If I cant find any other rims to use for the upcomming winter I guess ill give this a try... He does have awesome 3D tail-lites tho.

I don't run my truck at the track, as a matter of fact, I baby it most of the time to get better gas mileage. You can check www.dragtimes.com to see what people are running over there to get an idea.

. It is also handy on slippery ramps where traction seems to be an issue with 2wd trucks. Thanks for the info.
