Default New Rear Diff and Transfer Case. Yoke question. Does this look normal?

Hey guys, just had my rear diff and transfer case rebuilt and it is driving like a dream. The shop I took it to told me to check weekly to make sure that there are absolutely no leaks from all the new transfer case seals. I hopped underneath today and took a look, NO LEAKS!! Does the driveshaft look normal? is too much of the yoke exposed? I realize they may have removed some rust when they reinstalled the yoke, but it seems the yoke is sticking out more than it used to. Pics attached, any help is appreciated. Thanks!!

perhaps they used a different seal than factory, one that doesn't stick out so far? What year is that?

Do you have a suspension lift?

It is a 2008 ram 1500 5.7 4x4. It has a 2" leveling kit. I went and looked at my dads 2010 ram and his looks the same but with a bigger seal like you said. Would yall think this is something to worry about?

It will be fine. If it isn't leaking, it's fine. Nothing is getting out or in.

Fj5gtx had the right thoughts on it. Not me. But you're welcome anyway.

I noticed long ago after I did my suspension lift the shaft was pulled out a bit more due to the angle. But also like you, my rear diff was recently rebuilt. The rear trans seal was more flat. I also replaced the axle seals while they (the axles) were out.

Yeah well thank you Fj5gtx too! I had them replace all my rear diff bearings with timken bearings, there was a little metal when they cracked the case, but all in all everything looked good in there. My transfer case was functioning completely normal but it was leaking out of the middle where they crack it open so they went ahead and replaced all the seals and just put it back together. Great shop for anyone in the DFW metroplex, really fair prices and great guys to work with!
