2003 hemi motor

I have a 2003 hemi 4x4, with a blown motor, a buddy of mine has a 2006 hemi motor, will a 2006 hemi fit in the 2003? Are all the electronics the same?

did the 2006 come from a ram 2500 ? Most donors are going to be MDS, unless its the 3/4 ton model.

I guess I should have been more specific in details, I own a 2004 2500 and the 2003 with a blown motor is a 1500, that's my bad for not giving all the details

So you're going to take the 04 2500 5.7 and put it in the 03 1500?

That will work fine.

I want to take the 2003 hemi out of the 1500 and put in a 2006 hemi crate motor,
Just for the record the 2500 I mentioned has a diesel, it is my daily driver,

The 1500 I mentioned will be a extra vehicle
