Electronic to Manual Transfer Case
2006 Dodge Ram 3500
I had to replace my transfer case, so I had a local shop do the swap for me. I have a manual transmission, so it only made sense to me to have them swap in a manual transfer case instead of the original electronic one. The swap went well, but I'm wondering if there's any tricks to get the Serv 4x4 light to go out, or get the 4x4 indicator lights working again.
There's gotta be a better solution than black tape over the light on the dash...

Nope, there isn't.
You've bypassed all of the electronics, and there really isn't any way to 100% fake the signals that the electronic transfercase had... If you really want to try, you can add resistors in places where there were sensors that are no longer hooked up, and see if that fixes the problem, but my guess is that it wont.
If I was you, I wouldn't have swapped it out for a manual transfercase in the first place.
