Default Decals and Logos Off!!!!

I'm taking off all my decals and logos of my truck so it will give it a more rugged look to it.... Is this a bad or good idea?

I have the same color and took everything off of mine. I have an extra eraser wheel if you are interested in buying and using it. Resell it when you are done.

I'm pretty sure we have one but did you just heat yours up and use fishing line to take behind them i've only taken off the ram 1500 on the side of the door and the 2 sided tape is being a pain and very time consuming.

dont heat.
I used fishing line to saw the badges off. Did this completely dry. I dont remember but I think I used either 12 or 14lb's doubled up because it was breaking from the heat generated.
Once left with adhesive, that is what the eraser wheel takes off. Since I didnt have one, I sprayed with sticker remover(GooGone stuff) and let soak for a few min. Once soaked, I sprayed again and scraped with a fresh/clean never been used before credit card. I used the sticker spray as my lubricant so I didn't scuff the paint while scraping. Worked well.
I then used scratchX to buff that area out by hand because there will probably be some suffing around the badges where you have wiped several dozen times plus a laye of dirt/oxidization where the wax never was...

I just finished mine up and the last few I did I just sprayed Goofoff on it and used the fishing line and for the adhesive I just used my fingers to get it off now I would recommend using a credit card cause my fingers are killing me now.

See, a simple drill with an eraser wheel and less than 5 mins or work and you would have been done, clean and no sore fingers
