Anyone have word on best duel exhaust pipe to use with x pipe ? 2.5" or 3 ? And does anyone know if its really worth getting a cat delete or just use higher flowing cat ?

 

Stock cats are high flow. I had 3" cat back with a magna flow dual outlet.

 

Magnaflow Dual Exit is the way to go... I love the way mine sounds!

 

i had a single inlet dual outless flowmaster 40, sounded great but rotted off and threw both tail pipes down the road in less then a year, got a 3" single stright pipe right to rear and out the right side on a angle behind the rear wheel, little loud but sounds awesom

 

So did you just go 3" of the factory Y pipe after cats ? Thought about 3" from the Y to single inlet and duel oulet of 2.5" or 3" to 3.5" tips...?

 

It clamps to the 3" pipe where the stock muffler is now. It has 2.5" tailpipes coming out the rear with 3.5" tips. It is all stainless. I have Magnaflow catbacks for my Ram and Mustang.
