Default Engine swap 4.7l or 5.7l What to do???

Own a 2003 Ram 1500 QC with a 3.7l but now need it to tow an RV and the 3.7l just can't do it. the truck has a 5 speed manual which i think I can keep with the 4.7l, but would have to go to an automatic with the 5.7l. Would that require having to replace the steering colum? How much of a headache is it to do either one of these swaps? Just how much stuff will need replacing? What will give me the most bang for the buck. New to the forum so appreciate any and all help with this thanks

3.7 to 4.7 would be easier since the 3.7 and 4.7 are basically the same with two cylinders added.

Best bang for the buck though would be to sell it as is and use that money for a factory equipped hemi ram. That's 3500-4000 you'll be able put towards a 6-8,000 truck.
