What is the best way to get overspray paint off my truck?

Use a clay bar. Buy it as a kit at any auto parts store or retail store

+1 on using clay bar. You can also spray asort of lubricant on the surface before using the claybar. Wet sanding and buffing is a good alternative but I would seek a professional help from a bodyshop for this.

clay bar, and if anything left a good buffing wheel and compound done by a competent detailer (an orbital waxer is not a buffing wheel) have to be careful not to burn through
