Default Fog light question??

Well it seems I need new fog lights assemblies because of stone damage. Do LED lights give off enough light and do they last? Anyone have any preference on which to buy and which to stay away from. These are what I was looking at to install.

many of the new european luxury cars only have led lights if that tells you anything about brightness (bmw even uses them for the headlights on one model I read a couple months ago) as for lasting, a good one will outlast any other light, a cheap one the internal circuit board will fail in a couple years

Pretty much what archemedes says. Good quality LEDs will outshine and outlast any comparable bulb light as well as only pull a fraction of the amps.

Poor quality is pretty much gonna fail after a couple of months like a lot of those lower tailgate strips I see around...

Output = totally depends on the diodes used for the lights.

Longevity = totally depends on the diodes used for the lights.

lol

true stuff..

As far as casing goes, diecast is best, but even factory is plastic.
