Default Busted Heater Core Oh No

Whats A Good Stop Leak Now Im Not In Mood To Spend 8-12 hrs taking The Whole Dash Out right now Is There Some Good Stop Leak I would Just Bypass It But Winter Will Be Here Before You Know It

Just use a small length of pipe to bypass the heater core. Disconnect the inlet and outlet hoses from the heater core and join both with the pipe. Secure the hoses to the pipe with hose clamps and you're done.

Yes, do that instead. Stop leak is garbage and can cause other problems. I would stay away from the stuff.

Stop leak is bad stuff. clogs everything...

I would just tear it apart in the warm weather, the last thing you wanna do is freeze your ballz off to get'r'done.
I would replace the blend doors while your in there too!

As everyone has said, don't use stop leak. It's not a fun job, but it's not that terrible to do. I really don't think it'll take 8 hours from start to finish.

Here is a video showing all the basic steps to getting the dash apart. It's always easier said than done, but doing this right is the only option.

I'm also going to tell you NOT to use stop leak. Bypassing the heater core is a great and best temporary idea
