Spark Plugs in 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 5.7 hemi (gas)

The spark plugs are medium-size. 
Not a horrible job, but not a "walk in the park", either. The 300C is easier. Spark plug socket and a short swivel are useful. The ones near the firewall are the toughest.

Yep, swivel is a must on this job, especially for the # 7 & 8 cylinders. Not sure how many miles you have on your rig but you may want to go ahead and meter out your wire set or just swap them out for new. Perfect time to do it while you have the hemi hat off, etc.
Also, something very handy is a good telescoping rare earth magnet. Some plug sockets will get stuck after installing the new plug and in the rear it's a bitch to get them out with out one.

Thanks guys, and thanks fire fighter for the info, I plan on doing one at a time. I am meticulous about these things, one comes of and the other goes right back on and closed up!! appreciate the info guys again!!! Gotta keep her lookin good!!! AND ON THE ROAD LOL. Dont do much good lookin pretty and cant ride!!!

Fire fighter youre gonna have to break this thing down barney style to me man LOL. I can turn wrenches with the best of em but "meter out your wire set" is alien to me LOL. She might be down for a couple days when I start, just because I would like to have that extra time to take a break if needed!! I certainly dont want to get to a point to where I done "F'd" somthin up and I have to tow her in to spend more money!!!

Use a socket with rubber insert to remove plugs and one without to put them in. Extensions that are knurled will make it easier when turning by finger. I had to unclip the heater hoses on passenger side to get the back plug. The one under the power steering booster can be got out by putting the socket on the plug then wrench on extension, as it starts out remove wrench and turn by fingers. Not much room here. Don't drop coil pack bolts, they will vanish.
