Default 2004 Ram 1500 dies under any load

I bought a 04 ram 1500 quad 4x4 with small dash fire, had to replace dash, gauge cluster, engine computer and fuse box, now the truck does run but as soon as you put any kind of load on it it dies. Local dealer told me i would have to buy a brand new engine computer, brand new gauge cluster and brand new front body module and then have them reprogrammed. Can't a used engine computer and used gauge cluster be reprogrammed or do i have to buy them brand bew?? Anyone have the same problem?? any help would be greately appreciated.

I have no idea. Why did you buy a vehicle that had a fire in it in the first place? Just curious.
